Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) works by exposing the body to an atmosphere of 100% oxygen, in an enclosed chamber where the atmospheric pressure is increased and controlled. Exposing your body to 100% oxygen can accelerate the healing process by allowing more oxygen to reach damaged areas.

The benefits of HBOT are well-documented, including:

  • Speeding up the body’s healing by increasing tissue oxygen levels in areas of injury or illness
  • Supporting faster wound healing
  • Reducing swelling that may occur around damaged areas
  • Stimulating new blood vessel growth and increased blood flow
  • Elevating the body’s natural immune defenses to fight infection and bacteria
  • Boosting your supply of circulating stem cells

Reverse Aging | Dr. Shai Efrati | TEDxWhiteCity

Reverse aging, taking the biology back in time, can be achieved by inducing the body for self rejuvenation.

Dr. Shai Efrati: Director of the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research, Assaf-Harofeh Medical
Under the management and guidance of Dr. Efrati, the Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research has become the largest most occupied hyperbaric center in the world, currently treating more than 120 patients a day. Dr. Efrati initiated a research program focusing on the neuroplasticity (regeneration of brain tissue) of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). In the first clinical study it was proved that HBOT can induce neuroplasticity in stroke and traumatic brain injuries even years after an acute incident. The vital clinical results gained from the research program have shed fascinating new light on regeneration of the injured brain as well as aging tissues.

Hyperbaric Medicine - Dr Shai Efrati at Exponential Medicine 2019

In this Exponential Medicine talk, Dr Efrati describes the numerous clinical applications of hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT) on tissue regeneration, and studies demonstrating that brain rejuvenation is possible across a wide range of neurological pathologies and illnesses.

Dr. Shai Efrati leads The Sagol Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Research the largest hyperbaric treatment center worldwide.

Offering highly advanced, large multiplace chambers, The Sagol Center treats more than 200 patients daily. Additionally, the Center is a leader in pioneering research on novel indications of hyperbaric medicine for cognitive and physical rehabilitation and performance.

Recent Advances in Treatment of Autism Cerebral Palsy and Incurable Neurologic

We did it for our son about a year ago - 40 "dives". I would not say it was very effective compared to stem cell therapy, but our son did benefit from it. His gut got better and the main positive effect was the variety of food that he started eating. Feeding our son green salads, which is very important for his diet was not possible before that. We also saw some slight improvement in his speech, focus, and attention.

Unfortunately, in California such a course, was quite expensive - about $8000, therefore we are not planning to repeat it here again. However, since my wife Fouzia, is Moroccan, they offer such therapy in Morocco for a much smaller price, which does make sense to repeat when we go there for a prolonged period of time. By the way, the same goes for neurofeedback.
